Track Virus: The Global App to Stop the Spread of Viruses and Diseases
Track Virus is a new Android app developed by Bamboo-Cloud in collaboration with the United Rescue organization. It is the first global app that helps stop the spread of viruses and contagious diseases. The app monitors your movement and, after publishing the movement route of an individual identified by health authorities, it checks against the database of all app users and updates them if they were in the same or nearby locations as those published by the authorities.
In case of a match in location and time of a user and a confirmed COVID-19 patient, the user receives a notification and is asked to contact the local health authorities. Please note that the notification is to contact the health authorities because you were in the same place and at a similar time. Official health authorities are the only ones authorized to instruct you on how to act.
